Are you looking for an active way for your children to spend the summer?  Etobicoke Track has a great summer sports camp, for children ages 6-14.  The sports camp is in its 18th year at Etobicoke’s Centennial Park Stadium.  Plans for our 2024 Annual Summer Camp have begun and we are now taking registrations for the 9 weeks from July 2, 2024 – August 30, 2024.  This fun camp includes running, track and field training, track events, games, swimming, weekly excursions and more.

What will your child learn?

The mornings will focus on basic up to advanced
Track & Field skills at Centennial Stadium, including
(but not limited to);
Middle Distance: 400/800 meters
Longer distances and Cross Country Running
Sprints: 60/80/100/200 meter training including
sprint drills, starting and relays.
Jumps: High Jumping and Long/Triple Jumping
Relays: Team Building and Baton Handoffs.
Throws: Shot Put, Discus and Javelin.
Note: For safety reasons foam and rubber throwing
implements are used.

Afternoons will consist of further instructions in distance
running and cross country for those that wish; and
playing various games and other team sports – including
Soccer, Baseball, Touch Football, Swimming/Wading
and many other team-building games and activities, that
complement morning practices.
All equipment, and some giveaways, will be supplied
by the Etobicoke Track’s Sports Camp.

A special daylong weekly excursion is included each
week to complement scheduled activities, and provide appropriate rest. Transportation (buses) and admission fees are included in weekly fees, making
the camp a great deal for the parents and a positive
experience for the participants. Excursions: visits to the Zoo, Blue Jays game, Dave and Busters, Science Centre, Wonderland, Playdium and more!
