STATEMENT FROM ETOBICOKE TRACK: In light of the events surrounding the death of George Floyd and the Anti-Racism protests throughout the world, Etobicoke Track wants to acknowledge that we stand with Black Lives Matter, on the side of inclusiveness, and the recognition of the differences in our community. Etobicoke Track will continue to cultivate an environment filled with diversity, equality, and support.
Throughout our 50+ years of operation, we have seen the burgeoning diversity of Toronto. Etobicoke Track acknowledges, and is proud of, the diverse spectrum of athletes that make up our club and is extremely sensitive to this fact. We will continue to provide top-quality coaching and an environment that inspires all athletes, regardless of age, ability, gender, skin color, nationality, or sexual orientation, to pursue and achieve their individual goals, and be better citizens. Etobicoke Track will continue to foster a community, both inside and outside of Track and Field, in which all individuals are seen as equals, and feel safe, welcomed, and heard.
CLUB PRACTICE COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the continuing nature of COVID-19 health concerns, all workouts and events in which any number of athletes would gather, are cancelled until we get full clearance from regulatory bodies. We will prioritize the health and well-being of our close family of athletes, coaches, officers, and associates, on the side of public health and safety. We are aware of the important role that athletics plays in our everyday lives and will provide club members with appropriate suggestions. Please do not hesitate to consult with your coach to see if there is some self-directed indoor program that you could potentially carry out. Athletes are encouraged to simulate a typical week’s workouts as best they can. For more information on COVID-19, please visit the following: City of Toronto; Public Health Ontario; Health Canada. For more information from our regulatory bodies, please visit Athletics Ontario, Athletics Canada, and the Ontario Minor Track Association.
WELCOME TO ETOBICOKE TRACK!
Since 1963, countless athletes have achieved impressive results with Etobicoke Track-affiliated clubs in the west end of Toronto. Our athletes have a long history of participation in Olympic games, national and provincial championships, high school and public school finals, road racing, GTA-area athletic events, and numerous international competitions. Several of our athletes hold records and top-10 results at the provincial and national level. Our exceptional coaching staff focuses on providing each athlete with the direction, environment, and developmental support to attain their personal best. Training programs are offered for sprinting, distance, throws, and jumps for athletes of all ages and abilities, with a flexible, year-round training schedule offering practices up to five days per week. Whether you are just starting out or looking to sharpen your competitive edge, here are some of the benefits you can expect when you train with us:
- High-calibre coaching for athletes of all ages and abilities
- Many training groups to choose from, depending on area of focus, schedule and training location
